Welcome to Five Wishes Children's Centre Please take your time to look round the site finding out about our activities, courses, services and information. Five Wishes Sure Start Children’s Centre is conveniently located a short walk from Amesbury town centre and is here to support parents to be, parents or carers with children under five years old. We work with other agencies to provide a range of services, offering information, advice and support to Mothers, Fathers and carers; in short if you care for a child who is 0-5 years old we aim to be your “one stop shop” for advice, support and information. We provide a range of activities for young children to be enjoyed with their parent, relative or carer in a friendly, welcoming and safe environment. Encouraging children, with parents’/carers’ support, to learn and develop through their play. Our activities are free. Our Toy Library is a great opportunity to borrow one or two toys for one or two weeks, again at no charge. Our Sensory Room can be booked, to enable your child to experience and enjoy the equipment that stimulates or relaxes their different senses. The role of our Family Support Outreach Workers is to empower and support you with the parenting of your child, they will work co-operatively with you to build a partnership on which new ideas can be shared and skills learnt and practised. A programme specific to your needs will be developed and carried out in your home, this can range from simple advice or information that is more structured and intensive to suit your needs.
